February Schedule

Monday's Mondays, February 6, 13, 20, 27 – Project Monday, Kirk Thompson on Keys, Bob Hernandez on Bass, Bobo B on Percussion, Alvin Fejarang on drums. Featuring guest soloists every week. Fusion Jazz and Funk.

Tuesday's Tuesdays, February 7, 14, 21 – JazzStory, Gilbert Batangan on Guitar, Mark Tanouye on Bass, Mark Lindberg on Drums, Jason Gay on Tenor Sax. From straight ahead to modern Jazz, these guys have musicianship that will keep you guessing and entertained!

4th Tuesday, February 28 – The Patrick Koh Jazz Ensemble. Patrick on vocals, Jerry on keyboards, Jeremy on bass, Sal on Drums Randy on Sax/Flute

Wednesday's 1st Wednesday, February 1 – The Mantra Experiments Local rock group Mantra is mixing things up with a variety of instruments and genre, many special guests. This month we feature Kevin Jones!

2nd Wednesday, February 8 – M.O.J.O. “Music Over Judgement and Oppression” is a reggae band that combines elements of ska, rock, and hip hop to create an eclectic sound that anyone can groove to.

3rd & 5th Wednesday, February 15, 29 –branapeles Presents Screwed Up Wednesdays! Featuring a showcase of Hawaii’s hottest new bands.

4th Wednesday, February 22 – Mano Kane Chris Chorney, Kalani Puana, Handsome Jack Tawil, Something fresh, original and different for the Hawaii music scene, these guys will put you in doo wop and surf rock heaven.

Thursday's 1st and 3rd Thursdays, February 2, 16 – Funk and Fusion, Led by master drummer Phil Bennett, these guys are some of the most musicially mature musicians in town. Featuring Todd Yukumoto on sax.

2nd Thursday, February 9 – VeJJ, Christopher Jay Volk - Ivories and guitar, Ernie Ecraela - Low end, Jamm Aquino - vocals and guitar, John Charleston – Drums, Blues & R&B

4th Thursday, February 23 – The Bentos! Honolulu’s own R&B / Neo Soul group featuring Jackson HelMOX on vox, Jason Gay on Tenor Sax, Ethan Capone on keys, Mark Tanoyue on bass, Mark Lindberg on drums.

1st Friday, February 3 – Cradle to Grave, with Andrew on Guitar / Vocals, Stetson on Bass, and Jazzton on Drums. hip blues and funk. Don’t miss this high-energy groove!

2nd Friday, February 10 – The Bentos! Honolulu’s own R&B / Neo Soul group featuring Jackson HelMOX on vox, Jason Gay on Tenor Sax, Ethan Capone on keys, Mark Tanoyue on bass, Mark Lindberg on drums.

3rd Friday February 17 – Gyn & The Blue Light Funk Band! Kat on bass, Drew on guitar, Josh on Drums, Al on percussion, Ricky on horns. Featuring the lovely ms. Melodie Soul.

4th Friday February 24 – Gyn & The Blue Light Funk Band! Kat on bass, Drew on guitar, Josh on Drums, Al on percussion, Ricky on horns. Featuring the lovely ms. Melodie Soul.

1st and 3rd Saturdays, February 4, 18 – The Bobby Nishida Band, Featuring Dayton Arima on bass, Ken Fields on drums, Bobby Nishida on Guitar. Many special guest vocalists!

2nd Saturday, February 11 – the deadbeats, Hawaii’s number one live Hip Hop band! Featuring Harumi the Hymn on vocals, Matty Wong on alto sax, Ethan Capone on keys, Brett Robinson on bass, and Micah McLaughlin on drums.

4th Saturday, February 25 – The Smooth Operators, Check out the funky and soulful band, playing all the best grooves from Sade. Featuring Shannon on vocals and alto sax, Mike on bass, Wes on guitar, Nick on keys, George on drums, Ricardo on horns, and Hasani on vocals.
